In practical applications, the head is equal to the pressure difference between the pump's inlet and outlet, drawing liquid from a lower place to a higher place, with the height depending on the type of pump, speed, blade shape, etc. In simple terms, the head is the height that the pump can make the liquid "climb". For example, if the pump can make the liquid rise vertically 30 meters, then its head is 30 meters. Choosing a pump with the appropriate head is crucial for ensuring the normal operation of the system.
